AIP GMRS Exercise (Saturday)

Exercise Overview

The purpose of this exercise is to practice accurately receiving critical situational updates from the Fire Dept. In an actual emergency, this information would be shared with neighborhoods through Zone Leads and Neighborhood Coordinators.

Exercise Details:

1. Our mobile Net Control Station will conduct a Zone Net per the schedule below. This net will be a simple check in net. When you are called by your tactical callsign (example: Zone 4 Alpha ) state your GMRS call sign, Tactical callsign and say “no traffic”.

2. At the conclusion of the net, you will receive a message on Channel AIEOC.

3. Write down the message. After the exercise, I will send out an email with the correct message content so you can verify your logged message content.
