Field Day participants are invited to bring their ham gear: (transceivers and antennas) to AIHS, Monday June 17 at Noon DST. We will be setting up our rigs and testing our ability to make a contact with the outside world.
This is a practice run for Field Day. No power will be available, bring your battery. Bring your own chair.
We will setup on the grassy knoll (outside the Gift Shop) or on the Stage (outside Coop 2).

Well, that went well, until a little dark cloud came by and rained on us.
N6TO made a contact with a station in Northern Cali, on 40 meters. He used a X6100 set to output less than 1 watt and a JPC-12 antenna.
KK7RJO setup 2 HF antennas with some assistance from KF7VX.
N7DFH setup an EFHW antenna made from solder wicking copper braid, an aluminum ladder and a QRP matching circuit.
AI7SV set up a XIEGU X6100 and JPC-12 antenna and logged into the Noon Time Net using 10 watts.

Looking forward to Field Day.
We will Not setup on Friday afternoon. We will setup our tents and tables Saturday morning starting at 0800 PDT.
The contest starts at 1100 and continues until 1700 PDT. We will shut down so to not interfere with a music event on the AIHS stage.
After the music event, our Field Day event will continue until 1100 Sunday, June 23.
