The WA7AI 70 cm repeater is back in operation. Great job Ev (KF7VX) for making it live another day!
  • Sounder Submission
I sent this for the next Sounder: January was busy for amateur radio on Anderson Island. At Winter Field Day, club members focused on sending emails and text messages over HF radio to island community member’s “out of area” contacts. Member’s of the Anderson Island Prepares pitched in by filling out an email form with their out area contact’s information and a short test message. In the event of an actual emergency, Continue Reading →

The club’s 444.2 repeater is offline this week. Because of this, our Wednesday net will begin on the 147.3 repeater and then move directly to Simplex. All are welcome to check in to test your radios.
  • Island Repeater is Still Down
Ev (KF7VX) has been working hard to troubleshoot the electronics and find/order parts for our ancient repeater. We all appreciate his unique skills to necessitate repairs. For this week, at least, the 444.2 repeater will not be a part of the AIARC Wednesday net. The net will begin on the 2m repeater. If you need help programming your radio, let me know.
